Found a recipe on allrecipe.com and it was great and easy! I also have leftovers that I am freezing and saving to make a pot pie. Yum yum!
Directions:
1 sweet onion cut into chunks
5-6 chicken breast (mine were frozen and it worked fine)
2 can cream of chicken soup (one of mine was herb cream of chicken but that is just what I had on hand)
Box of chicken broth (I used stock because again I had it on hand)
Salt
Pepper
Rosemary
Pillsbury bisquit dough
Place onions in bottom of crock pot. chicken and soup on top, then cover it with the broth/stock. Then add the seasonings to taste. Cook on high for 6 hours (or so, like I said my chicken was frozen and 6 hours was good). Then do your thing... Clean, shower, laundry, watch your fav show.... Anything! At an hour and a half before time is up shred the chicken in the pot and rip off chunks of the bisquit dough and drop it in the crock pot. Use a spoon to push them under the liquid and then cover again for that last hour and a half.
B's Broccoli
Cut the broccoli so as much stem stays on as possible.
Put cut broccoli on a cookie sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
Put under the broiler and mix once in a while.
Cook until it starts looking a little crispy.
This is also good with cauliflower and Brussels sprouts
When I have it I also add in some minced garlic.
Super easy and yummy!
